Q. What type of LED bulb should I choose?
A. Icicle type LED
– Copper wire led string lights are thiner, lighter, cheaper to manufacture and consumes less power, but they are dim and don’t have the beautiful halo/glare effect you would want. Good for fairy light in bottle.
– Icicle led string lights are bigger, more expensive to manufacture, much more brighter and have the beautiful halo/glare effect. Best for curtain lights.
Q. Does our product work with batteries?
A. No. Curtain Lights using Icicle LED bulbs (usually 200-300 bulbs) run only about 12 – 20 hours with 3 AA batteries. If you use Curtain Lights regularly, you will have to replace batteries quite often.
Q. Why no remote?
A. In short, USB + Remote = Way Too Dim, Not Beautiful. When we designed our product, we decided to use USB as the power source as it uses safer 5Volt power.
We thought it would be nice to have a remote as well, worked with 12 factories and test 19 ‘remote + USB dongle’ units, and ALL of them were designed for copper wire LED bulbs and couldn’t properly power icicle LED curtain lights. Avoid ‘USB+Remote’ model for now.
Q. Does our product support brightness control and timer?
A. Yes, our Smart Memory Switch provides 3 brightness settings to choose. For Automatic On/Off or Voice Control (e.g. Alexa), you can combine our product with a Timer Plug or Smart Plug(Not included).
